Ready for the canyon
4WD on winter tires all season. When UDOT posts a traction restriction on the canyon, we’re already compliant. It isn’t something we scramble to work out at the mouth with your flight time running down.
We watch the road, not just the clock
Avalanche control closes that canyon without much notice, and it reopens on its own schedule. Interlodge can hold everyone indoors while it runs, us included. We check the road report on the morning of your ride and call you if the plan needs to move.
Dropped at your entry
The Cliff Lodge, the Snowbird Center, the Inn, wherever your room actually is, not a shuttle stop with a walk and a set of stairs between you and your bags.
Parking is not your problem
You’re dropped at the door and picked up at the door, so the parking lot never enters into it. No hunting for a space at seven in the morning, and no walk back to it in the dark, whether you’re up for one day or staying the week.
Little Cottonwood is not the road to learn on
A storm day in that canyon is a lot to take on in a car you picked up an hour ago. Leave the rental at the airport and let somebody who drives it all winter do the climb, and skip digging the thing out on the last morning.
Your gear comes free
Skis, boards and boot bags are part of the fare. Five passengers with ski gear in the full-size SUV, six with regular bags.
Never a shared ride
No other parties, no extra stops, no waiting at the terminal for a van to fill before it starts up the canyon. Your driver is yours for the trip.

Rates start here and go up based on details like exact pickup and drop off locations, pickup time, gratuity, and any other extras you choose to add. Pickups late at night, overnight or early in the morning are assessed late night or early morning fees. You will get your complete price before you book, and it does not change. Airport fees are included in the price.

Private condos and rentals in the canyon too. Tell us the entry number or the building when you reserve. Up there it’s far more use to a driver than a street address.
The drive
Down the valley to the mouth of Little Cottonwood, then up the canyon road. How long it takes depends on the hour, the weather and what the traffic at the mouth is doing, so rather than print a number that may not hold, the reservation system shows the estimated drive time on your quote, before you book.
On a big storm morning the canyon backs up long before the lifts turn, and we’ll suggest an earlier pickup rather than let you sit in it. If avalanche control shuts the road, we tell you what we know as soon as we know it.

Snowbird questions
What happens if there’s a traction restriction on Little Cottonwood?
Nothing changes for you. Our vehicles run 4WD with winter tires all season, which is what the restriction is asking for, so we’re compliant before it’s posted.
What if the canyon is closed when I land?
Avalanche control closes Little Cottonwood without much notice and it reopens on its own schedule. Nobody drives around that. What we do is watch the road report, keep you informed, and get you up as soon as it opens. If the closure runs long, we’ll drop you at a hotel in the valley rather than leave you sitting at the airport, then take you up once the road opens. The room is yours to book; the run up is quoted as a separate trip. If the timing has to change, we would rather call you than leave you guessing.
What if we’re under interlodge on the morning we fly out?
Interlodge holds everyone indoors while avalanche control works, and that includes your driver. We can’t pull up to your entry any more than you can walk out to it. What we do is watch for it lifting and set off the moment the road allows. If it looks like it will run long enough to put your flight at risk, we’d rather tell you early than let you find out at the door. You aren’t charged for a trip we can’t run.
Do skis and snowboards cost extra?
No. Skis, boards and boot bags are part of the fare. Five passengers travel comfortably with ski gear in the full-size SUV, six with regular bags. For a larger group there’s a 14 passenger van, quoted per trip rather than priced off a list.
Where do we meet you at the airport?
Curbside as standard. Your driver confirms with you the day before, then meets you at the first curb outside between columns 5A and 6A. If you would rather be met inside baggage claim, meet and greet costs $45.
Can you take us to another resort for a day?
Yes. A day trip to another mountain is quoted per trip, because it depends on which one and whether we wait for you. Tell us the plan and we’ll put a number on it before you book.
How far ahead should I reserve?
As early as you can. The further ahead we know about a trip, the better we can plan the day around it, and holiday weeks and the busiest stretches of January go first. Twenty-four hours still works for most trips, and we take later ones by phone.
