Services — Corporate Transportation

Corporate transportation in Salt Lake City

Ground transport for the people your business is responsible for — staff flying in, clients you would rather not leave working out the curb for themselves, and days with more stops in them than one ride.

Same vehicles, same drivers and the same fixed price as everything else we do. What changes is who is waiting on it, and how much it matters that the car is there.

Four full-size SUVs staged outside a lodge at dusk, waiting to move a group

Your visitor is met, not left to figure it out

We track the flight and move the pickup to the actual arrival, so nobody is standing at a curb wondering. Curbside is standard; meet and greet inside baggage claim is available for $40. Wait time is free for 45 minutes from the moment they land, and $1.25 a minute after that.

Private aviation as well

We pick up from the FBO ramps at Salt Lake City, Provo, Ogden and Heber — planeside, any hour, in whatever the weather is doing. We need the tail number and which FBO, since some fields have more than one.

A day of meetings, one car

When the day is not one trip from A to B, book the car by the hour and it stays with you. Same driver, same vehicle, waiting between stops rather than being re-booked at each one. Three hour minimum.

The price is fixed before you book

You get a firm price before you confirm, and it does not change afterwards. No meter and no surge, which makes it a number that can be approved in advance rather than explained afterwards.

An invoice when the trip is done

Fares are paid by credit card when the reservation is made. An invoice is emailed when the trip is complete, showing the total including any applicable taxes and fees — which is the document an expense report wants.

Teams as well as individuals

Five with luggage in the full-size SUV, or six traveling lighter. Up to fourteen with bags in the van, quoted per trip. Groups larger than fourteen are quoted on request.

A pickup late at night, overnight or early in the morning costs more than the same trip in the middle of the day. Whichever applies is in the price we quote, so nothing is added afterwards.

What it gets used for

Inbound visitors and clients — met off the flight at Salt Lake City, Provo or Ogden, or planeside at the FBO, and taken straight to the hotel or the office.

A day of meetings across the valley — the car and the driver stay with you for the block, so nothing is re-booked between stops and parking is not your problem.

Client entertaining — the Delta Center, the Utah First Credit Union Amphitheatre, Red Butte Garden, the Maverik Center. Dropped at the entrance, picked up at the same spot when it ends.

A day on the mountain — Park City and Deer Valley, the Cottonwood resorts, Snowbasin and Powder Mountain. Gear travels with the group.

Anywhere in the service area — Salt Lake, Davis, Weber, Utah, Summit, Wasatch, Morgan, Tooele and Cache counties.

Questions

Can you meet our visitor inside the terminal?

Yes. Curbside is standard — at Salt Lake City that is the first curb outside the Ground Transportation doors, between columns 5A and 6A, and the driver confirms with them the day before. Meet and greet inside baggage claim, with a name board, is available for $40. For someone who has not flown into Salt Lake before, or is arriving late at night, it is usually worth it.

What happens if their flight is delayed?

Nothing you need to do. We watch the same board you would — delays, early arrivals, diversions — and move the pickup to the actual arrival without anybody having to call. Wait time is free for 45 minutes from the moment they land, and $1.25 a minute after that. A delay of several hours can run past the end of a driver’s day, in which case the pickup may be reassigned; we will say so, and somebody will be there.

How do we pay, and do we get an invoice?

Fares are paid by credit card when the reservation is made, not on the day of travel. An invoice is emailed when the trip is complete, showing the total including any applicable taxes and fees. If your company needs something arranged differently, call or text and ask — it is quicker to work out on the phone than through a form.

How many people can you move at once?

The full-size SUV takes five passengers with luggage, or six traveling lighter, and the bags go in the back rather than on a lap. The 14 passenger van takes fourteen with bags and is quoted per trip rather than off the rate list. Groups larger than fourteen are quoted on request — tell us the party size, the pickup point and the date.

Can you pick up from a private jet?

Yes. We work the FBO ramps at Salt Lake City, Provo, Ogden and Heber — planeside, at any hour. We need the tail number and which FBO you are arriving at, since some fields have more than one and they are not close together.

We have a day with several stops — how should we book it?

By the hour, in most cases. The car and the driver stay with you for the whole block instead of being booked leg by leg, so there is no waiting for a car between meetings and no hunting for it afterwards. Three hour minimum, and the clock runs from pickup to final drop-off. If you are not sure whether hourly or point to point is cheaper for what you have planned, tell us the day and we will say which.

How far ahead should we reserve?

As early as you can. The further ahead we know about a trip, the better we can plan the day around it, and holiday weeks and ski-season Saturdays fill first. Twenty-four hours still works for most trips, and we take later ones by phone — inside 24 hours the online system closes, and those carry a 20% late booking fee, included in the quote.

Tell us who is flying in

Send the flight number, or the day and the stops, and we will price the whole thing. The earlier the better — it helps us plan, and it guarantees the slot.
