Services — Family Trips & Car Seats

Family trips, car seats included

Two kinds of family trip, one vehicle. A local family leaving for the airport at five in the morning, and a family flying in for a week on the mountain. Both need the same three things: room for everybody, room for everybody’s bags, and a seat that fits the smallest passenger.

Child car seats are included in the fare. Not a surcharge, not something settled at the curb — tell us the ages when you reserve and the right seat is in the vehicle before we pull up.

Car seats cost nothing extra

Included in the fare, on request. We carry up to four seats in the full-size SUV — infant seats, five point harnesses and boosters — and there is no charge for any of them. Tell us each child’s age, weight and height when you reserve and we bring seats that suit. If the trip needs more than four, it is a van trip, and we will work it out with you when you book.

Room for everyone and the bags

Six passengers with luggage in the full-size SUV, and the bags ride in the back rather than on anyone’s lap. For a larger family, or two families traveling together, there is a 14 passenger van, quoted per trip.

The stroller comes too

We run full-size SUVs, with plenty of room for all your stuff. The stroller goes in with the luggage — tell us it is coming when you reserve and we’ll get it in.

Booked, not requested

The trip is on the calendar with a driver assigned to it from the moment you reserve. There is nothing waiting to be accepted at four in the morning while you stand in the driveway with two children and a pile of bags, and no cancellation because a better fare appeared two streets away.

Never a shared ride

One driver, one vehicle, your party only. Nobody else is picked up on the way, and there is no second stop that is not yours.

A price before you book

You get your firm price before you confirm, and it does not change afterwards. The car seats and the airport fees are already in it.

Questions

Do you charge for a car seat?

No. Car seats are included in the fare, and that is true whether you need one or several. Request them when you reserve so the right seats are in the vehicle before it leaves for you.

How many car seats can you bring?

Up to four in the full-size SUV. Two or three is the usual trip — an infant seat, a five point harness and a booster together is a combination we run often. Beyond four the trip requires the van, and we will work the seats out with you at the time of booking.

What kind of seat will you bring?

Tell us each child’s age, weight and height and we bring a seat that suits. Our seats meet legal safety standards and are kept in good condition. Fitting the seat and fastening the child are yours to do — you know how your child sits better than we do.

Can we use our own seat?

Yes. Plenty of families would rather use the seat the child is already used to, or are taking it on the plane anyway. Bring it and fit it in the vehicle yourself. There is no charge either way and it makes no difference to us which you choose.

Will the stroller fit?

Yes. We run full-size SUVs, with plenty of room for all your stuff, so a stroller is a normal thing to bring rather than a problem to solve. Mention it when you reserve, along with anything else outsized, and we’ll get it in.

Can’t we just order a car on the app?

Rideshare apps do not provide car seats. Utah law requires young children to ride in a child restraint, and a car that turns up without one leaves you choosing between missing the flight and holding a small child on your lap on the freeway. That is not a decision anyone should be making at five in the morning with the bags already out. We bring the seats, they are in the vehicle before it reaches you, and they cost nothing extra.

We are flying in with children and ski gear — does it all fit?

With skis and boot bags the full-size SUV takes five. Add car seats and it depends on how many of each, so tell us the party — how many adults, how many children, how many sets of gear — and we will say plainly whether the SUV does it or whether the trip wants the van.

Can you do a five in the morning departure?

Yes. Pickups run 24/7, 365 days a year, and the early airport run is a large part of what we do.

How early should we reserve?

As early as you can. The further ahead we know about a trip, the better we can plan the day around it, and school breaks, ski-season Saturdays and early Sunday runs to the airport fill first. Twenty-four hours still works for most trips, and we take later ones by phone. Inside 24 hours the online system closes, and those carry a 20% late booking fee, included in the quote.

Reserve a family trip

Tell us how many are traveling, how old the children are and what is coming with you. We will price the whole thing, seats included.
