Questions
How is this different from a rideshare app?
The trip exists before the day does. It is on the calendar with a driver assigned to it, so there is nothing to accept or decline at five in the morning, no surge price, and no cancellation because someone found a better fare two streets away. You also know what the trip costs before you book it rather than after you arrive, and the car is a full-size SUV with room for luggage rather than whatever happens to be nearby.
Is this a limousine service?
No. There are no stretch limousines. It is a full-size SUV, or a 14 passenger van when the group is bigger — the same vehicles that run the airport transfers and the resort trips.
What vehicle will turn up?
A full-size SUV. It seats five with luggage, or six traveling lighter, and the bags go in the back rather than on anybody’s lap. We do not commit to a particular model, because drivers run different vehicles and naming one sets an expectation the next one breaks. For a larger group there is a 14 passenger van, quoted per trip.
Do you only do airport runs?
No. The airport is most of the work, but the same car does an evening out, a day of meetings across the valley, a run up the canyon and back, a wedding, or a game at the Delta Center. If the day has several stops in it, hourly charter is usually the better way to book it — tell us the plan and we will say which is cheaper.
How far ahead should I reserve?
As early as you can. The further ahead we know about a trip, the better we can plan the day around it — and holiday weeks, ski-season Saturdays and early Sunday runs to the airport fill first. Twenty-four hours still works for most trips, and we take later ones by phone. Inside 24 hours the online system closes, and those carry a 20% late booking fee, included in the quote.
Where do you go?
Salt Lake, Davis, Weber, Utah, Summit, Wasatch, Morgan, Tooele and Cache counties — so the whole valley, both Cottonwood canyons, Park City and the Heber valley, Ogden and the I-84 corridor, and down through Utah County. If your address is not obviously in that list, ask — it is usually a yes.
