Ski resort transfers — Snowbasin

SLC Airport to Snowbasin

There is no lodging at Snowbasin, so most people skiing it stay down in Ogden and drive up each morning. That makes it two trips rather than one, and we run both — the airport to wherever you are based, and there to the lifts.

North, not east

Up the interstate and over Trappers Loop, a different direction entirely from the Cottonwoods and Park City. It is worth reserving rather than assuming something will be waiting when you land.

Two trips, not one

With no lodging at the mountain, most Snowbasin weeks mean a base down the valley and a drive up each morning. Ogden, Huntsville, Eden, the places around Pineview — we do the airport run and the daily runs both.

Ready for the road in any weather

4WD on winter tires all season. The climb from the valley floor gets its own weather, and having the right tires under you is the whole difference on a snowy morning.

Your gear comes free

Skis, boards and boot bags are part of the fare rather than a line on the bill. Five passengers with ski gear in the full-size SUV, six with regular bags.

Never a shared ride

No other parties, no extra stops, and no waiting on a van to fill before it leaves the terminal. Your driver is yours for the trip.

We track your flight

Delays, early arrivals, diversions — we move the pickup to your actual landing without you having to call, and the 45 minutes of free wait time starts from then.

Your price before you book

The number comes back before you commit and does not move afterwards. No surge, no recalculation overnight, no different figure on the receipt.

Rates start here and rise with your exact address, the time of day, and any extras. Airport fees are in the price. A day trip to a mountain you are not staying at, and the 14 passenger van, are both quoted per trip. Flying into Ogden instead? Ask and we will quote it.

A pickup late at night, overnight or early in the morning costs more than the same trip in the middle of the day. Whichever applies is in the price we quote you, so nothing is added afterwards.

Where we drop off for Snowbasin

Downtown Ogden Ogden Valley Huntsville Eden Pineview Mountain Green Snowbasin base area Earl’s Lodge

Where you are staying first, because that is where the week starts and ends, then the mountain. Any address in between, rental or hotel — if yours is up a lane a map pin does not quite find, tell us when you reserve and we will note it.

The drive

North up the interstate, then east and over Trappers Loop to the resort road. How long that takes depends on your exact address, the hour and the weather, so rather than print a number that may not hold, the reservation system shows the estimated drive time on your quote — before you book.

The vehicles run 4WD on winter tires all season. It is a mountain road at the end of a long run, and that is the part we would rather not improvise on.

Snowbasin questions

How much is a ride from Salt Lake City Airport to Snowbasin?

Starting at $220 in the full-size SUV, either direction. Rates start there and rise with your exact address, the time of day, and any extras — so we quote you a price before you book, and that price does not change afterwards. Airport fees are in the price.

We are staying in Ogden or Huntsville. Can you run us up each morning?

Yes. Book each run as its own trip, or take an hourly charter if you want the vehicle to stay with you for the day, three hour minimum. Either way you get the price before you book.

Should I fly into Salt Lake City or Ogden?

Ogden is closer to the mountain and Salt Lake City has far more flights, which is why SLC is the run we do most. We serve Ogden and Provo as well, with the same flight tracking and the same wait time — ask and we will quote it.

Do skis and snowboards cost extra?

No. Skis, boards and boot bags are part of the fare. Five passengers travel comfortably with ski gear in the full-size SUV, six with regular bags. For a larger group there is a 14 passenger van, quoted per trip rather than priced off a list.

Where do we meet you at the airport?

Curbside as standard. Your driver confirms with you the day before, then meets you at the first curb outside between columns 5A and 6A. If you would rather be met inside baggage claim, meet and greet costs $40.

How far ahead should I reserve?

As early as you can. The further ahead we know about a trip, the better we can plan the day around it — and holiday weeks and the busiest stretches of January go first. Twenty-four hours still works for most trips, and we take later ones by phone.
