Airport transfers — Sandy

Sandy to SLC Airport

A straight run down to the terminal, and a short one the other way to the mouth of Little Cottonwood — Sandy is closer to the canyon than any other city in the valley. Room in the back for everything you are taking, reserved in advance, and driven by someone who does this for a living.

Above the valley, in Sandy

Based in Riverton, minutes away

Home base is across the valley, close enough that we know the streets rather than the map. It is a reservation rather than a ride you summon, and the early slots go first.

Airport, canyon, or both

A Sandy address is a short run to Alta, Snowbird, Brighton and Solitude, so the same car often goes both ways in a week.

Built for the canyon

4WD on winter tires, so a traction restriction on Little or Big Cottonwood does not become your problem. We watch the road reports the morning of your ride and call you if the plan has to move.

Booked, not requested

Reserve it and it is on the calendar with a driver assigned to it, whether that is next Tuesday or in March. No request to be accepted, and nobody dropping the trip at the last minute for a better fare.

Licensed and commercially insured

Licensed, and insured commercially for carrying passengers. Not every car that will take you to the airport is either, and it is the kind of thing that only matters once.

We watch your flight home

Delays, early arrivals, diversions — we move the pickup to your actual landing without you having to call, and the 45 minutes of free wait time starts from then.

Your price before you book

The number comes back before you commit and does not move afterwards. No surge, no recalculation overnight, no different figure on the receipt.

Room for all of it

Six passengers with luggage in the full-size SUV, and the cases ride in the back rather than on anyone’s lap. A child car seat is included on request.

The drive

The run to the terminal is usually up I-15, or across on I-215. How long it takes depends on your exact address, the hour and the weather, so the reservation system shows the estimated drive time on your quote — before you book.

Going the other way, Alta and Snowbird are a short run up Little Cottonwood, and Brighton and Solitude the same up Big. Both are on the ski transfers page.

Sandy questions

What does a ride from Sandy to SLC Airport cost?

Starting at $75 in the full-size SUV, either direction. Rates start there and rise with your exact address, the time of day, and any extras — so we quote you a price before you book, and that price does not change afterwards. Airport fees are in the price.

Can you take us up to Alta or Snowbird from Sandy?

Yes — Little and Big Cottonwood both, and Park City or Deer Valley over the top. The vehicles run 4WD on winter tires, so the traction restrictions do not become your problem. Canyon trips are quoted per trip rather than priced off a list.

Do you drive to games and concerts as well?

Yes — the Sandy Amphitheater on your doorstep, and the Delta Center, the Utah First Credit Union Amphitheatre, Red Butte Garden and the Maverik Center further afield. Dropped at the door and collected at the same spot when it finishes, with no parking to find and nobody in the group having to skip a drink to drive home. The car can also be booked by the hour if you want it waiting.

Will you wait if my flight lands late?

Yes, and there is nothing to call about. We track the flight and move the pickup to your actual arrival. Wait time is free for 45 minutes from the moment you land, and $1.25 a minute after that.

How far ahead should I reserve?

As early as you can. The further ahead we know about a trip, the better we can plan the day around it — and holiday weeks, ski-season Saturdays and Sunday morning runs to the airport fill first. Twenty-four hours still works for most trips, and we take later ones by phone.
