Long distance — St George
Salt Lake City to St George
The length of the state, with the same car and the same driver throughout. People book it for golf, for winter sun, for a family visit, or for time in the red rock country — and whatever the reason, they want the same thing from the drive: no connecting flight to catch, no rental counter at the far end, and nothing to hand back before they come home.
It’s quoted per trip rather than priced off a list — a drive this long moves with the dates, the party and the exact addresses at both ends. Tell us those three things and we’ll come back with a firm number.
One car, the whole way
Never a shared ride. Nobody else is picked up along the route, there’s no stop that isn’t yours, and your driver is yours for the trip. The rate is for the vehicle: one fare, however many of you there are.
Door to door at both ends
Picked up at your address or off your flight, and dropped at the one you’re going to — the house, the hotel, the rental. Nothing to arrange in the middle and no last leg to work out with the bags.
A one way is normal
Most of these are booked one way, and that’s fine. The vehicle and driver make the round trip either way and come back empty, so it’s built into the quote rather than added to it. Want the return leg too? Say so when you ask and we’ll price both.
Room for the party and the bags
Five passengers with luggage, or six traveling lighter, and the bags ride in the back rather than on anyone’s lap. Child car seats are included on request. For a bigger group there’s a 14 passenger van, quoted per trip.
We meet the flight
If you’re flying into Salt Lake City first, we track the flight and move the pickup to your actual arrival. Wait time is free for 45 minutes from the moment you land, and $1.25 a minute after that.
Licensed and commercially insured
Licensed, and insured commercially for carrying passengers. Not every car that will drive you the length of the state is either, and it’s the kind of thing that only matters once.
What it costs
Quoted per trip
| Salt Lake City ↔ St George · full-size SUV | Quoted |
| Salt Lake City ↔ St George · 14 passenger van | Quoted |
Long-distance trips are quoted on request rather than priced off a list — the same way Moab, Jackson, Sun Valley and Wendover are. That price is settled before you book and it does not move afterwards. Payment is by card when the reservation is made, and an invoice is emailed when the trip is complete.
Going somewhere past St George? A park, a trailhead, another town in the south — tell us where you’re actually headed and we’ll quote that trip instead. St George is the one with a page, not the limit of where we go.
Questions
How do we get a price?
Tell us the dates, the size of the party, the pickup point and the address in St George, and we’ll come back with a firm figure. Call or text (801) 432-0033, or send it through the contact form. The number you get is the number you pay — no meter, no surge, and nothing added at the end.
Is it cheaper one way?
A one way is the normal way this runs and it’s what most people need. The vehicle and driver make the round trip either way and come back empty, so that’s already in the quote rather than added to it. If you want the return as well, ask for both and we’ll price them together.
How many of us can you take, and what about the bags?
The full-size SUV takes five passengers with luggage, or six traveling lighter, and the bags go in the back rather than on anybody’s lap. For a larger party there’s a 14 passenger van, quoted per trip. Groups larger than fourteen are quoted on request — tell us the party size and the dates.
Can you pick us up at the airport?
Yes, and that’s how a lot of these start. We track the flight and move the pickup to your actual arrival, so a delay isn’t something you have to call about. Curbside is standard — at Salt Lake City that’s the first curb outside the Ground Transportation doors, between columns 5A and 6A — and meet and greet inside baggage claim is available for $40.
Do you have car seats?
Yes, included in the fare, and up to four in the full-size SUV — infant seats, five point harnesses and boosters. Tell us each child’s age, weight and height when you reserve and the right seats are in the vehicle before it leaves for you. You’re welcome to bring your own instead; fitting the seat and fastening the child are yours to do.
Can you do it at short notice?
Often, yes — call and ask. The online system closes 24 hours before pickup, so anything inside that window has to go through the phone, and those bookings carry a 20% late booking fee, included in the quote you’re given before you commit.
Where else do you go that far out?
Moab, Jackson in Wyoming, Sun Valley in Idaho and Wendover in Nevada, all quoted the same way. If where you’re going isn’t on that list, ask — it’s usually a yes.
