How do we get a price?

Why isn’t there a price on the page?
Because any single figure would be wrong for most people. A trip this long moves with the dates, the party size, the exact addresses at both ends and the vehicle it needs, and publishing one number would mean quoting some customers too high and others too low. Every long-distance trip on this site is handled the same way — St George, Moab, Sun Valley and Wendover are all quoted rather than listed.
How many of us can you take, and what about the bags?
The full-size SUV takes five passengers with luggage or full ski gear, or six traveling lighter, and the bags go in the back rather than on anybody’s lap. For a larger party there’s a 14 passenger van, quoted per trip. Groups larger than fourteen are quoted on request — tell us the party size and the dates.
Is it a shared ride?
Never. Nobody else is picked up on the way and there’s no second stop that isn’t yours.
Do you have car seats?
Yes, included in the fare, and up to four in the full-size SUV — infant seats, five point harnesses and boosters. Tell us each child’s age, weight and height when you reserve and the right seats are in the vehicle before it leaves for you. You’re welcome to bring your own instead; fitting the seat and fastening the child are yours to do.
What about winter weather?
The vehicles run 4WD on winter tires through the season. What nobody can drive through is a closed road, so if the conditions change we watch them, stay in touch with you, and tell you straight rather than leaving you to find out on the day.
We need to leave today. Can you do that?
Often, yes — call and ask. This is one of the few trips on the site that’s usually booked at short notice, because the reason for it tends to be a flight that has just been cancelled. Two things to know: the online system closes 24 hours before pickup, so a same-day trip has to go through the phone, and bookings inside that window carry a 20% late booking fee, which is included in the quote you’re given before you commit.
Is it cheaper one way?
A one way is the normal way this trip runs, and it’s what most people need. It’s worth knowing what you’re paying for: the vehicle and driver make the round trip either way, and come back empty. That’s built into the quote rather than added to it, and it’s why the trip is priced per trip instead of off a list.
